nogo ezgo
i have a 89 ez go that has full charged battiries and quite working. the lights work horn works reverse horn works some times but will not do anything else. where should i start?

Check all of the battery cable connections are they clean and tight? Do you have a voltmeter?

Make sure the throttle wiper arm contact is not worn to the point of not making contact with the wiper board. Had an old ezgo (in fact my first cart ever) That the contact was worn so bad it hung up and the spring wouldn`t push it out to make contact with the board. Replaced it and about gave me whiplash when it took off out of the garage.

is it controller or resistor cart? remember guys 89 had both.....................lolol.................... .......

resistor cart will have a row of coils either behind the batterires or in some carts between the batteries.......controller cart will have a box approx 10x4 by 2 1/2 inches deep with cables and wires coming from it and its a sealed unit.............................................. ...
