Here's the bottom line on this fault code...

means your thermometer is broken *badum tch!*

So the under temp alarm shouldn’t show unless you’re at -25C, when it pops up and it’s NOT that cold, it means that you either have voltage on the frame of the cart, or the temp sensor in the controller is starting to freak out and die.

So what we do is just take a voltage reading from B- of the battery pack to the frame of the cart, then from B+ of the battery pack to the frame of the cart. Optimally we should see 0 volts, which would point to a bad controller. If you see a standing voltage of 20v or more though, then that’s the cause of the problem. If you have full voltage then it usually means someone tied a ground to the frame or some insulation came off a wire and is touching the frame, lower voltages usually means the battery packs EMF has charged the frame. To get rid of the problem you can just insulate the controller from where it’s mounted, with a rubber mat or some plywood or anything nonconductive. Don’t worry about reattaching with the stainless steel bolts, those are horrible conductors and shouldn’t cause a problem.

So in short, its either a bad controller or you got voltage on the frame.

Two seperate carts.
Both pds carts
Started with dcx300 on father inlaws cart it popped on day so he went with a dcx 400 and one day the throttle stopped responding the laptop only showed 4 percent throttle. Then he upgraded to the dcx500. Now its screwing up again where the throttle is not responding and most of the time it will. You can be cruising at one speed and the next min it drops out the next its speeds up.

My cart started with a dcx400 and i turned the switch on and pop. Something blowed out in the bottom right corner. Second time inbought a dcx500 and just the other day i hoped on turn key on and nothing. No green light or anything. So alltrax is off my list and my fatherinlaws.
