Default Battery cleaner

I am new to BGW, and i was wondering what a good battery connection cleaner is, and what a decent price is. Pleas, recommend something.
- thanks

Napa sell some red stuff that is pretty good, not sure how much it is but probably around 5 or 6 bucks a can.

I'm old school.

IMO,

Anything you put on the terminals and connections IS going to attract dirt/dust/grime/etc. Then you have to clean off the stuff you put on and all the crap it has attracted.

I prefer to run dry and monitor and clean the connections on a regular schedule. But that's just me.

I used a mixture of baking soda and water in my garden sprayer to clean my batteries as described here in another post. I was very pleased with the job it done at a very low cost.

This does work to neutralize the acid.

Should any of this mixture makes its way in to any cell of any battery then see above.
