can it be done?
Can a 36v be converted to a 48v by getting a different solonoid, and 8v bateries instead of 6v?

Re: can it be done?
you will also need a controler that can handle 48 volts and a 48 volt charger...$$$$$$$

Re: can it be done?
thanks for the reply, how much do you think that would cost? By the amount of dollar sign i would guess quite a bit.

Re: can it be done?
yes it can be done. but also, from the looks of the cart that you have for your avatar, you have a a resistor cart. if thats the case then you wont need to buy a controller but you will need to watch and make sure you dont burn up the coil looking mechanism on your cart. and going to 48v isnt that pricey till you have you buy the 48v charger and thats where the big money is spent.

Re: can it be done?
Is your cart resistor coils or controller ? Here are some results from a quick search of this site on the 36 to 48v conversion discussion. Read them all and then decide if you want to proceed.

Re: can it be done?
There were very few if any 1994 model resistor controlled carts. The mfg. number will tell the tale but I'm betting if this is indeed a 94 it is an ESC cart.
