Post New Motor Upgrade...Grinding in the rear end

I recently purchased a used electric ez go and tricked it out myself. I went to a local cart store and purchased a high torque motor, alltrax speed controler, solenoid, new cables, lift kit and tires, and rear seat.

On my test run, the cart seemed to run fine. I did notice that when I eased on the accelerator the cart seemed to jump and I noticed a grinding noise in the rear end. After further driving it at full throttle, the motor would make a noise as if the shaft that connects to the motor was slipping. I am new to this game and I am not sure if the motor I purchased has the same number of spindles as the rear end shaft. I would think that the new motor would not have fit on the existing shaft if the number of spindles was different. I am also not sure if I needed to replace any gears in rear end.

I would love some incite. Also, does anyone know if there is some sort of manual or book on that gives information on motor upgrades, lift kits, etc... This is my first go at this and I love it. Now I am working to spend money on this buggy!!!

Hubs are in the center of the rear break drums where the axle nut bolts the drum to the axle....When the drum hub strips, the drum spins and the axle doesn't....

PG,
Can you check my wiring diagram ....http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/test-...tml#post122277
