Default new controller install ??????????

I am trying to install a new buggies unlimited 700 amp controller on a 2005 ezgo txt. but what i belive to the input plug will not conect to the new controller. The stock controller has pins and the new on has blades.do i need to just cut the plug and change the ends of the wires to blade recievers or get a new plug?If I cut the wires what order will they need to go in?

Unless something has changed since the last time I saw a PU controller you will have to cut the ends and match them up yourself. Does your new controller have 3 terminals and the plug on the cart has 4 wires? (White, red orange and black.) Find a stock schematic and figure out which wire goes where. There should have been install instructions in the box on how to do it. When you replace a stock series controller with something like an Alltrax AXE you have to do this....its not big deal.

I'm just wondering why you needed a 700 amp controller? Let's hope you already have 4 gauge wires?

that was my thought but the controller also has four blades so ill have enough wires just the order is my main problem.you would think directions would have came with it but not this time, thats customer service for ya thanks for your help i guess ill just have to wait till they reopen again to get with the teck guys.

The wires on the cart are easy, the terminals on the controller I have no idea. Hopefully someone who has bought one can pony up the terminal connections.
