Melting post on my RXV charge plug.
The last few weekends i've noticed the bottom left post on my cart charger receptacle is getting hot enough to melt some of the plastic off the receptacle post. It has been charging fine though so I've ignored it.
I played 13 holes this afternoon and cleaned the charger plug by crapping on it with a knife. I also noticed that all the plastic coating is gone from the bottom left receptacle now and I got a two red flash fault light from the stock charger so it's time to do something about this. Do I replace the receptacle plug and start charging again or is my problem worse than that? 2010 RXV, 4 new 12V Trojan batteries this spring. |
