Default Help on information on Power Wise QE 917-4810 charger?

Just purchased 2009 ezgo rxv. Came with this charger but no manual. Does anyone have the manual or link to access the manual? Cannot seem to find online. Also does anyone know if this charger can be left plugged in and does it trickle charge once batteries are fully charged? Will be leaving unattended for several months at a time. Any info about the charger gratefully accepted!

I don't have a manual for the 917 series chargers, but the RXV owner manual (attached) covers the normal operation and error codes.

The last sentence of second to the last paragraph on page-3 reads: "The charger may be left plugged in for long periods of time to maintain the batteries charge level."

That seems to imply that some form of battery level maintaining type charging exists, but EZGO does employ creative writing in their publications.

You can find out if it does by measuring the battery pack voltage with the charger plugged in about 18 to 24 hours after it was initially plugged in.

If it doesn't maintain the pack, the voltage will be about 51.0V (Trojan batteries) and if it does, the voltage will be about 52.5V or a bit higher.
