Ring terminal with spade lug?
I'm looking for a ring terminal with a spade lug attached so I can clean up the wiring for my voltmeter and the lights on my cart.
I've attached an image of what I'm looking for. Basically, it would be a 5/16" ring terminal I could bolt onto the post on my battery, with a 1/4" male spade lug I can attach a wire terminated in a female spade lug to. Does anyone have a source for such a thing? Before someone says to buy it from the place I found the photo, I photoshopped that image from one that had a smaller ring. Thanks, RLW |

Re: Ring terminal with spade lug?
I did some searching.....all if the 1/4" spades had rings that were a LOT smaller than what you are looking for, typically they were for a 10# screws. what I did find could work with a little ingenuity. The lugs below are for a 5/16" stud and are quite stout....you could take the other end, flatten it, then use a file to shape the spade connector end.

Re: Ring terminal with spade lug?
You can get spade adapters that go over the battery posts. Look in the mobile audio section of any department store.

Thanks to everyone who responded. I'm gonna take KAB's advice and check in the mobile audio section of Best Buy.
If I find what I'm looking for, I'll post it here. RLW |

If you can't find 'em, let me know. Last time I was in Meijer, they still had them.

Re: Ring terminal with spade lug?
Is this something like you what are looking for? If so I could drop them in the mail to you. I obviously have 2 but I may have some more. They will fit a 5/16 post.
