I'm interested also, and how does that 2 speed switch install in the system?

I use the EMP 2 speed. It is switched from torque to speed in two different ways. First, EMP has a switch that is mounted on the cart, usually somewhere near the drivers legs. The switch is actually the F&R switch from an older Club Car. It is wired to the motor in a manner similar to the original F&R. However, your motor will now have 6 studs instead of 4. This system can be shift, "on the fly", and is not dependent upon the primary F&R. The other way is cheaper if one is to only need the use of the "other" setting now and again. Simply remove two jumper cables from their posts and place them on the other designated posts.
I have nothing but good things to say about the company and the way they treated me. After talking about my cart and my needs, I sent them my motor. It came back about a week later, looking brand new. Mine needed a couple new brushes and mounts as well as some new wires. All taken care of a it works like a champ.
There is only about a 4 MPH difference in the two speeds but the torque difference is noticeable.
