Want to go faster!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a 2000 EZGo. What is the fastest chip I can get for it? Can I take the one that is on it now out and run the cart without it?, and if I increase the battery cable sizes will it run faster? Any help locating parts will be appreciated.

You may not even have a "chip". What model ezgo is it? Upgrading cables alone wont give you more speed....cables will help if you have installed larger tires or upgraded the motor and/or the controller.

It is a 2000 PDS EZGO.

I'm not sure about the differences in the PDS and DCS E-Z-GO carts, but there is a Freedom chip for one of them.

You want the Freedom chip. You will sacrafice some low end with that chip though. You can order the plug or there is a diagram floating around that shows which connections need to be made for freedom mode.

The DCS carts are first generation Regenerative systems, the PDS carts are second generation Regen and are programable via the "chip" selection.
