I like spindle lifts too. Easier to do, and an all-around better lift.

I move that rod to the top of the spindles, on the 4" lifts, it hides the bar behind the axle. That axle is a little taller but moving it would help with ground clearence and mostly hide it. I believe those drop axles lifts were intended to have the rod moved to the top side of the spindles for the new style steering.
