electric ezgo speed sensor
I have an electric 36 volt ezgo cart with a bad controller, my old controller used a resistance speed pot the new controller I purchased needs an inductive throttle sensor from what I read my 5 pin input controller uses a volt input signal and the sensor I just received says milliamp is there a difference in speed sensors my sensor model EXC12 or 25854-G01. my controller is ezgo/curtis model 25864G09 are these compatible and what readings should I get from speed sensor to my controller

Re: electric ezgo speed sensor
The ITS (Inductive Throttle System) sensor you have matches the Curtis 1206 controller you have, but neither matches your cart.
Sounds like your cart has a potbox type throttle and the new stuff you bought has a ITS type throttle. I'm not sure what it will take to convert your potbox cart to an ITS cart, but it would most likely be easier and less expensive to return the new stuff and get the correct controller for your cart, or an Alltrax controller that has user programmable throttle types. |
