Re: Batteries
You do realize that a GC2 is a 6 volt battery? Thus you would need 8 of them to equal 48 volts.... I ask as most 48 volt carts including Bad Boy use six 8 volt batteries not eight 6 volt batteries.
Also the GC2 really is a group size not an actual battery size; there are 4 different 6 volt batteries all within the GC2 with amp hours ratings ranging from 215 to 255 amps. Lastly while not a "bad" battery per say the Duracell battery is not known to be an especially good or long lasting battery. |

Re: Batteries
No difference in volts, but your adding more money, wires, weight, and robbing room (if you have it) for no reason.

The only advantage of 8-6 volts vs. 6-8 volts Is longer run times. If that is no issue I'd stay with the 6-8 volts. It would be cheaper and lighter.

Start off by telling us the year and model of your buggy as they make several different models. Also take a look at the batteries themselves and tell us the brand and model number on them. From there any one of us can help you decide on the proper replacement battery. |

Re: Batteries
Sure you can.... BUT there is always a BUT.... You may have to purchase some new cabling as your current cables "may" not be long enough... And you will be giving up on some range. Depending on how and where you use your cart this may or may not be an issue to you.
