Default motor help

When driving my cart I have a loud noise coming from the motor. It sounds like like something is rubbing. I spoke to someone and they said something could have rusted and it just needs to run a bit for it to wear down but I'm a little nervous that I will have to replace it. If I'm forced to replace, do the motors that I see on ebay worth a crap, they around $300. Thanks

Go to some local golf cart shops that custom build carts and price them. I'll bet you get better prices.

I'm guessing you are talking about one of these

Folks here tend to steer you towards the site sponsors as they should. Those motors have a 12 month warranty, but you are talking $340 or so plus $40 for shipping. I'd call EMP just to see what their pricing would be before I bought the Ebay motor.

I saw these on Ebay, they say nothing about a warranty but they do say
*****ALL SALES FINAL - NO REFUNDS - NO EXCHANGES*****
