08 rxv does nothing

I just got it from a friend who just passed away. It messed up on him. He put 4 new batteries in and did nothing. Whe the key is turned on nothing happens at all, no solenoid click or anything.

Are the batteries charged ? and are they hooked up correctly.

Yes I have 48 volts to solenoid to ground side of battery.

One would think the switch to be bad. I took it out and ohmed it. It is fine. No back up buzzer or anything.

Is the tow switch in run?

Check the bottom of the cupholder for a jumper plug with red & green wires on the plug. The plug itself is white. Brake cannot unlock and cart cant run without the jumper plug.

It's in run mode. Jumper plug is in there. I'm about to pull my hair out with this thing.

On my 2008. I turn key. Solenoid clicks. Then I hear/feel a "CLUNK". It is the motor nudging about a quarter inch. It is similar to placing a car in drive (leaving park or neutral). Then I press accelerator pedal and away I go.
