Default 12 Volt accessories battery

If I have a 36 Volt EZGO and want to run lights and accessories off a separate 12 Volt battery... Where is the best place to put it? Also how would you secure it?

I am thinking the well next to main batteries on the driver side? How would you secure it?

Maybe this is a better option than the DC Reducer?

It is another option, not sure it is better. You can buy a battery hold down assembly and fasten it to the floor there under the drivers seat.

People like the DC reducer because it doesn't require additional monitoring and charging.

I like the separate battery. As you suggest, that empty hole makes a great place to put one. Hold down kits are available at any parts store.

Ditto! I have mine in that same spot, just get a battery hookup on a parts store something like this http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS-Performan...ductId=1447415

Or you can make one yourself :)
