Default Batteries

Have an 04 EZ-GO cart wiyh 36 volt system, after fully charged what should total voltage be and also on each battery?

Here's the info you requested, it's from the Trojan site.

6.37 or better from each battery and 38.20 plus for the pack. Check them 45 minutes to a hour after they have been fully charged.

What else would cause batteries to go dead very fast after charging?

Age.
Lack of maintenance.
Leaving in a state of discharge for more than a few days.
Current draw.

Assuming there is no load on them, they are shot.
