Re: Reviving bad batteries
It depends on how bad your batteries really are...
Here's a thread that may help you with your decision: http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/desig...aver-test.html |

Re: Reviving bad batteries
Battery damage is irreversible. Period. No amount of salt or acid or snake oil will revive a damaged battery. And yes all dead batteries are damaged. If you get any life from them it will be diminished in both capacity and longevity. Take this into account when considering your next move.

Re: Reviving bad batteries
If batteries could be revived every other thread on this site would be about it. Lead acid batteries are dying from the day they are activated - Unfortunately there really is no going back

Thanks Guys, I guess new batteries are in order even if it's 1 or 2 a month :)

then replaced them with 2 year old batteries, then replaced them with new batteries... I guess the end result was, IF... you still have good batteries, it "may" help extend their life, but in the long run... you'll need to replace them anyway! (The main reason I went from an electric to a gasser) |

Re: Reviving bad batteries
Better to save the $ in a cookie jar than buy 1 or 2 a month. Be careful about putting a new battery into an old pack because the new battery becomes equal to the old batteries in short order. Sometimes dealers have blems or used batteries. I hope this helps.
