Default Marathon steering conversion

Is there anyone out there that has converted the steering from a newer cart to fit a marathon?

I would like to know the same thing. Did you ever find any information on this? I would like to potentially update the Marathon steering to an RXV if possible.

It's not difficult to graft a new steering system in. You need lots of parts though. The way I'd go is use a 4 bolt steering column from a 2000's model TXT because it has a 5/8 splined shaft. Then I'd mount a mini rack and pinion unit in, one from a sand rail buggy or go kart type. You'll have to make a universal joint shaft to connect the two. Then some new custom tie rods from Speedway Motors and some heim joints....boom....about a day's work and you'll have new steering.

Here's my thread, it outlines all the parts needed etc. My build was on an atv suspension, but the steering parts will be the same.
