Dead batteries.
So a while back, I hooked up three 12 volt marine batteries in my 36volt cart. It ran and charged fine every time I used it. "Probly 10 times". It has been sitting since sept./Oct. .. Pulled it out today to charge it and the charger won't start charging. So I figured the batteries didn't have enough juice for the charger to recognize the. I pull my volt meter on the battery when I unhooked them all. They are all Redding 6volts. Seems like half of each one died ?? Is this possible ? Please shed some insight ?

Re: Dead batteries.
Marine batteries aren't built for the demands of a golf cart.

Re: Dead batteries.
Your 12v batteries are effectively dead right now. You might be able to get some life back in them if you charge each one with a 12v automotive charger until they show at least 10v each, then your cart charger should "see" them and engage. Before doing ANY charging make sure the plates are covered with distilled water. Dry batteries like to go BOOM when charging.
