I hook up a horn to the cart. I touched the power wire from the horn to the post behind the ignition switch. It made the horn work a couple of times and then it stop working. I hooked the horn streight up to the battery and know my cart will not work at all.
EZ-GO serial # 1076459 manuf. code B2598 Thank you Jeff |

Re: no ezgo
may have shorted out the horn if you hooked it to 36v... most are designed for 12v i believe!! just my thoughts, sure you will get better responses!! i am also having electrical problems so i may be way off!! good luck

Re: no ezgo
Have you tried bypassing the ignition switch? You may have somehow shorted it out.

Re: no ezgo
Perhaps you could tell us more about your cart, like year, style, modifications, etc.

Would help to know what type of cart you have then we could tell you where the blown fuse is. The fuse is very specific to the carts electrical system so adding anything will usually blow it. need to go from battery to inline fuse to heavy button or relay to horn, from horn ground back to neg battery. Edit, Opps!, Sorry Gorno, I replied before reading it all..................... |

Re: no ezgo
Does the cart have a toggle switch on the controller cover?
