Question Ezgo TXT charging puzzle

My Powerwise charger will not charge my cart but does work on other carts. I do have another charger (not OEM) that I use that does charge it but am puzzled as to why the original does not work. Does anyone have any idea what the problem with my cart might be? I have changed batteries and current ones are less than year old so I know that isn't the issue.

What brand of batteries did you install? Are they a different brand than the one you took out? I've heard that some chargers don't like certain brands of batteries. I've never experienced this but it's just something that I saw I believe in a post somewhere on this forum.

Cleaning the outside of the negative terminal in your cart's charge receptacle may solve the mystery.

I suspect you have a Powerwise 28115 charger (picture attached) which senses the battery pack voltage via the Auxiliary contact in the output plug. Since it works on other carts, the charger's part of the battery sensing circuitry is working, so the problem is in the cart's part.

I also suspect your other charger does not sense the battery pack voltage via the Auxiliary contact, so it work with your cart despite the outside of the negative charge receptacle terminal being tarnished.
