Curtis 1268 Controller Question.
Hey guys I'm working on a buddies 2010 Fairplay. When the key is turned on the solenoid clicks and we have partial throttle, the cart will move without pushing the throttle pedal. The Curtis 1268-5403 gives us the 4/4 fault code which according to the Curtis Trouble shooting manual is "Aux Relay Does Not Close" and a possible cause is the "wire to the coil is open". What does this really mean and where should I look for this fault. I have checked the throttle linkage and it appears to return to the 0 throttle position. I should add this is a 48V cart and the batteries are reading 50.2
Thanks for your time Tim |
