Steering Shaft
Has anybody had any experence shortening the steering shaft? I would like to take about 4 inches out.

should be a no-brainer if you rig up a jig to get everything lined back up. I'd have a good welder put it back together using a "maintenance engineered" welding rod or wire because they require a lot less amperage and the would minimize the chances of it getting out of line due to the heat.
