Controller going back to Alltrax tomorrow.

With the troubles that I have had, should I replace the selinoid, diode, and resistor?

This whole cart thing has been a real bummer. I have really enjoyed driving in the evenings with my music playing and has been a great stress release from work. Music of choice is Margaritaville.

Scottyb,

Hard to cheer up with out Margaritaville.

The cart is a DCS that has stock wheels, stock motor, stock everything, new battery pack as of January 2016.

The non stock items are 2 gauge cables through out, DCX 400, and upgraded selinoid, flip rear seat.

No real desire to lift the cart....may want low profile tires/wheels some day... Large enough without lifting the cart.

Pulled the controller today and took a smell inside and it is burnt...no doubts.

If a controller frys, can it take other things like the selinoid and motor with it?

The controller does not kill other stuff when it dies as far as i know. But, whenever a sepex controller dies, a motor inspection is mandatory in my opinion (a failed motor often kills a sepex controller).

Still learning on this forum...

If a motor does not show or test for a short... What other ways does a motor fail?
