need help with RXV

Can anyone tell me if I can run a electric flow test on an RXV like on the TXT?
If so can you tell me to start at point A and go to point z with voltage all the way.
I'm just starting to work on some RXV's. Just need to tell where 50 volts start and where it stops or something runs or at least clicks.
I have a new meter and I'm not even sure I can use it (yet) I will.

Sorry Men I will be checking in and asking some real dumb question for the next few years.

PS The one I'm working on will not run motor check. No solenoid click Batteries are a 51.3. So the journey begins.

Check for pack voltage on blue wire at charge port. If no voltage, controller thinks charger plugged in and wont allow much of anything to happen. As far as testing goes, its ok as long as a few rules are met- Voltmeter with strong isolation is used (10 megaohm or greater), no testlights here (dont tell me "but i did ______...", that dont make it right & the controller has a "zero tolerance policy" for fumbles). Do not put any load or short the circuit being tested. Do not "inject" any power in the controller circuits not intended for them (no mixing the 48v, 5v or 15v circuits). If you are not absolutely sure what a circuit is supposed to read, leave it alone..... Read & understand the RXV troubleshooting guides, they have almost all the values you will need.

It's, just sometime people try to help but take you down a road they haven't been on.

Which direction is power coming from?

If no power on blue wire @ charge port when charger is Not plugged in, the port is bad (signal travels from charge port to controller). You should get a new charge port if its bad, but the same idea used to bypass the reed switch on 36v carts would work too (supplying 48+ to the blue wire). As with any safety system bypass, more responsibility is placed on the user. You could drive away with the charger plugged in. And never ever charge with the key on if the interlock is disabled, RXV tries to burn off excess power after a certain voltage, and if that happened while the charger was plugged in, lots of heat could be generated under the seat.

I checked again and had 1,5 volts.
Should I take a wire to the pos. post to get the pack voltage?

Yes, but only hook it to the part of the blue wire going to the cart harness, not the part going to the charge port. I added some to the prior post , be sure to read it.

I just replace the charger port. The cart started working just fine.
Now for more questions. I had a hard time replacing the motor brake, couldn't get the bolts to line up very easy.(now I know I didn't have to remove to check something) Is there a certain way do this?
The next thing I noticed, was a small chatter when I let off of the gas. Is that normal ? If not could there be something wrong with the way I replaced the brake ? Not sure how tight or loose the bolts, but didn't over tighten for sure.(I think) or could his motor brake be going bad. could not smell anything, but not sure what I should smell.

To line bolts up on brake when replacing..

1) Place cart on jackstands or properly chock wheels.
Cart will roll without brake.

2) Place run/tow switch in tow.

3) plug new brake into harness.

4) place keyswitch in N

5) Brake disk should move freely in brake assy.

6) Install brake making sure motor tang is in brake disk lug.
