Default 99 36v dcs cart solenoid question

I just picked up a dcs cart. I noticed as soon as I turn on the key the solenoid clicks. The cart runs fine but I don't think this is right. My series cart does not do this. Is this normal or should I look into it? Thanks in advance for any help.

The only time you should hear the solenoid click is when you depress the accelerator pedal. You need to check the micro switch under the floor mat. Sounds like it's bad.

Are you sure its the solenoid. Mine makes the same noise (same year dcs cart).

I had the same concern , so i checked for voltage at the solenoid it was not getting energized, the click was coming from the controller.
