Default Thoughts on this cart

I have been looking for a cart and found this on Facebook.

Guy told me he would take $800, trying to see if it is worth it or not, here is what I know.

2003 EZGO 36v
I needs batteries right now, charge last less than an hour.
Tires are about shot
It has been lifted, no idea what kind or how
Forward and reverse switch has been rewired to a toggle switch on the dash

My use will be around the golf course and my neighborhood on the street.

Can this thing be made to hit 18-20 mph with passenger's and it not be crazy expensive or requires swapping all most everything out?

Thoughts?

Looks like a 5 or 6 inch drop axle lift. Can you use a lifted cart with offroad tires on your course?

As far as the other stuff I don't know. But I would think it would cost you some dough to hit 18mph

Forgot to add it looks sharp. I'd get a factory or aftermarket F/R switch though.

Sounds like someone has installed a reversing contactor, which is an upgrade. I'd leave it like that is that is truly what it is.

We just moved in, I've seen a few lifted carts so I assume its ok. Honestly I'll probably remove the lift. If anything I wanted to lower a cart.

I'd like to run some 14" wheels with low profile street tires.

Is the PDS a good thing? What would it cost to speed it up?

Where are you? When I pick up my cart from my step dad we can swap...ha! It's stock height. I want it lifted ! Haha

As far as the switch I thought it was some cheap rigged toggle switch setup from an automotive store.

It looks to be a PDS with the factory toggle F-R switch
