Default How Long Can I Leave Unplugged

I'm trying to take good care of some new expensive batteries - in two carts. I'm leaving on a trip for a week. I don't want to leave my two carts plugged in (they are under my house), so I'll charge them fully before leaving.

Should I feel guilty?

What is the maximum time I can leave a cart unplugged without damaging my batteries?

as long as the carts are not going to be used, they will be fine for a week with no problem.

The maximum self discharge is 1% per day. So assuming a full charge start they can sit for 4 weeks without a charge.

Thanks guys - I'm hoping to take good care of these batteries and find out how much time I can really get if I do things right.
