After my paint job, i replaced traditional metal rivets with plastic " push type ". It will make it easier to remove next time.

Check with the site sponsors for an E-Z-Go TXT rivet kit. If they don't have them I can provide another source or 2.

Good idea Planman. I am in the process of a paintjob now, and I just may do that. Come to think of it, screws would work too, for some areas. They have those little metal clips that go on plastic parts that you can screw on. These would work well on the front cowl where it rivits to the dash. Would make disassemble a breeze as I may add a stereo later. They are readily avaiable at Autozone or similar autoparts store. Just because the factory used rivets doesn't make them right..... (gotta remember to think outside the box.)

I have a list of rivets in my archive at home. It's easier to buy a kit though....Call Mikes Motor Toys, I bet he can put you something together.
