batt cables, #2 vs #4. EZGO 36v possibly 42V
Ordering the new batts this week, duracell (DEKA) 230 ah. Ordering new cables as well from Scotty B.
97 TXT DCS, 400 A DCX controller, stock height tires, stock motor, 36 v (and will either go to 42 v or keep at 36 v next season, not going 48 v), will then add solenoid. Will add rear seat next season, primary use is up and down a good hill, then grass and asphalt, person hauler, short runs spaced throughout the day. I recently cut the original environmental cover in half so the controller is in the stock position. 2 questions please, should I go #2 or #4 AWG, price seems to be the same, also assuming no aftermarket controller (for length). If I go 42 V next season, I will just pick up the additional Cable then. Thanks as always! |

4g is good for the stock motor and for 400a controls.
2g is good for aftermarket motors and 500a controls. You can use 2g with stock motor, no problem. |

thanks Scotty, seems the price will about the same, would that make the #2AWG favorable? also, any chance of receiving them by the weekend, I could buy over the phone or however with a Credit Card, unless you would rather have a check, I live in ohio.

Ordinarily I would say absolutely yes. But tomorrow is our last shipping day this week. There's a good change they will ship if ordered this AM
