Default Are my batteries toast?

Hi, new here, great forum!! I have a 36v ezgo electric golf cart with Trojan t-105 batteries. F 13 is on the negative post. The cart was stored in a heated shop all winter but was not charged. My power wise charger will not turn on and I'll assume it is because of low volts.

So I have hooked up my 12 volt car charger to get the batteries up enough. 4 of the 6 batteries when hooked up to multimeter are reading around the 5.85 v, but 2 of the batteries won't read volts. They range and jump around in what I believe is ohms. Why are they doing that? Are they no good anymore? Water levels are up. I'm not sure what to do

If the meter will not settle down, often the battery in the meter needs changing.

If your meter is on any "ohm" setting, you are gonna have a bad time. The correct setting is "DC volts". Try to find a meter that is not "auto-ranging", so you can select the closest to correct setting for what you are trying to do (usually its "20v dc" for reading single batteries). I have had so much trouble with "auto-ranging" meters, i would not own one. Also, regardless what anyone says about "batteries in a low voltage condition are trash, dont even try", thats far from a guaranteed truth. Just in the last 2 days, i took a set of 4 Trojan T-1275 batteries that were around 5-6v each, cycled them twice (charge then discharge 2x), tested them on a industry standard Lester discharge tester, and got a 94 minute score (a respectable score for any 12v electric golf battery in my opinion, most new ones couldnt pull that score). That is not always gonna happen either, but give 'em a shot before trashing them.
