Thoughts on these two tread patterns.
I am going to buy a set of either of these tread patterns in 22".
What are folks thoughts on either or? https://www.steelenggolfcart.com/col...k-steel-wheels I think we have all seen enough golf cart tires to know which tread pattern these are from this limited view. |

Re: Thoughts on these two tread patterns.
depends on what your going to do with the cart .... Are they 4 ply or 6 ply..... I myself would buy nothing but 6 ply but i put weight on the back of mine now and then .

I don't know I'd have to look them up. There Wanda. There probably same tire except the tread pattern

Re: Thoughts on these two tread patterns.
Some research looks like the one on right might be DOT legal and one on left not?
If that is the case, would the DOT tire last longer since it is street legal? I would not think so? |

Re: Thoughts on these two tread patterns.
i dont see a DOT tire lasting any longer then a non tire. i would be more concerned with strength of sidewalls if hauling heavy loads or trail riding . but that JMO

Re: Thoughts on these two tread patterns.
The tire on the left appears to have directional tread...

Re: Thoughts on these two tread patterns.
Dave is right. I bought the tire on the left and it is directional. I had to change them around after I installed. It is also a low pressure tire or as johnnyb says speed sucker.

Re: Thoughts on these two tread patterns.
I have a feeling there both a "speed sucker"
I have tried to see how cheap the walk in price would be...basically like $25 off their Web price or ebay price. I can get the same tread pattern at a huge golf cart refurbishers seller south of augusta on 10" steels for $300. |
