Alltrax not communicating
I'm sure this has come up before but I can't seem to figure it out.. I downloaded software from alltrax site but I can't seem to get the controller to communicate with my laptop.. Any suggestions would be appreciated

The control LED should light up when the USB cable is plugged in. Only then should you open the program and it should find the controller right away.

and there has been issued before with the actual cable as well.....even with it being a new one.

Please explain what controller you have and how you are trying to communicate with it. What version of Windows are you running? The newer XCT that I have was easy to get to communicate and set up on my laptop running Windows 10.

That's right - I assumed newer XCT but the old DCX could be a real pain to connect with, cable driver installation not being the least of it's problems.

mine did a similar thing with a cable I purchased off of ebay. I ended up buying another cable from staples that came with the driver software and that fixed my problem.

Right. Sometimes you are expected to find the driver online for a specific cable but, hey all this is not necessary with the new XCT control.
Plug in a USB cable and go!  |
