Rear Clicking Noise
i just changed out the rear springs to heavy duty springs and now have a clicking noise that appears to come from each wheel. The clicking noise does not happen all the time and only at slow speeds. Think my cart is a 2000 ezgo txt. I have put aftermarket wheels and tires on it. The clicking noise seems to happen more on a bumpy surface or when riding in a circle. I made sure there are no stones caught and lug nuts are tight. Could not reproduce the clicking noise going in reverse. I did tighten my parking brake via the bolts under the golf cart as well. Please help if you can

hey,
it could be the rear wheel drums or something is rubbing against them when you go certain speeds or when you turn your wheels. jack your car up and have someone run it and carefully inspect around the wheels -steve |

clicking noises that can be changed while turning are often a rear wheel bearing problem in my experience. not sure how that relates to your new spring job.. just what i have seen.

It could also be excess tension in the brake cables. I have done a few lifts where the adjusters started clicking because of this tension. It's rare, but it does happen. Check to see that the brakes are releasing fully when the pedal is up.
