Default Going from 36v to 48v (maybe)

Ok I've pretty much decide to go to 48 v's before summer, how much improvement should I expect in run time, torque (I have a DCX400 controller already) and speed ?

Also,
When I got home today, I un-plugged the charger and checked the voltage for each battery right then. 5 read between 6.44 and 6.46, the other one was 6.38. Should I be concerned about that one battery being it is less than 3 months old ? Or should I wait a couple of hours after a full charge and see where it stands ?
