Charging Receptacle
Have 1996 EZ Go Txt 36 Volt. I only have 18 volts at the Charging Receptacle. Shouldn"t I have 36 volts. I have 36.8 volts on my Batteries. Any Ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Charging Receptacle
These wires should be going to the main + & - on the battery pack. Are they?

Re: Charging Receptacle
36.6 should move the cart but those are not healthy or charged up batteries.

Re: Charging Receptacle
Those batteries are very low. Your 36v should be 38.3 volts fully charged. Plug you charger back in let it do a full charge (let it shut off by itself) wait 12 hours and you should have 38.3 volts.
I take it that you have a series cart. |

Re: Charging Receptacle
Get those batteries charged up and then start trouble shooting it. If you don't get it running comes back here there are plenty of people willing to help you.

Re: Charging Receptacle
Really Appreciate it! Hooked charger up....but...the needle didn"t move. I put my probe on the charging receptacle and it shows 39.87v with charger hooked to it so I guess it is charging. Any Idea how much charger should put out? Thanks Again!
