Default One or all six?

Recently purchased EZGO is reading good voltage on five out of six so far. Is it ok to replace just one? And any advice on brand and where I should purchase it? Or them?

How good is good? Does the bad battery look like a differnt age? Normally its not a good idea to mix and match batteries. That is because the bad batteries have a tendency to drag down the new ones to their level. In your case, it may not be bad because you only need one. You might shorten it's life, but you would get the full use of the rest.

If they are 5 years old you might as well replace them all, nearing the end of their lives anyways

Charge the batteries. Let them set overnite. Check em then. If "a little over six volts" is 6.1 volts, replace them all. If their 6.25 or more, I think its worth a gamble on one battery.

Don't replace one. If they are 5 years old replace the set. You want the batteries all matched in age and capacity. If you replace one, your replacement will soon be 5 years old.

6 volts is dead. For a 6 volt.

And yea I wouldn't replace just one unless the others are say 3 years or newer and in good shape and plan on in 2 years or 3 probably having to replace all 6 anway

I agree at 5 yrs you are looking at a new set. So add a cheap used battery to replace the first to fail battery or bite the bullet and reparable all 6 with new
