Default my charger quit working

my charger has quit working. I plugged it in and it started humming like usual. Then about 30 min later i went to check on it and it had stopped. I tried the reset but no buzzing. I checked the power and its going into and out the cord to batteries. Any ideas?

Try your charger on the neighbor's cart...... A 36v battery pack should never be drawn down to 25v. Permanent damage can be done. If the charger works on the other cart your pack is too low for the charger to see. Charge them in pairs with a 12v automotive type until they total 28-30v minimum.....good luck

I am a loaner in the area as far as having a cart. I am going to check how much all my batteries are putting out i guess. Im not to sure i know what im doing but im willing to learn. A friend says he has a charge at his work but it might be off a club car. It shouldnt matter as long as its a 36 volt right?

Depends on the model... old club car and ezgo were the same but newer are not...CC has an on-board computer (OBC) to regulate charging and all others have computer in the charger..... You need a voltmeter (at a minimum, and a hydrometer also a good battery analysis tool) to check the batts. If they are too low the charger won't come on..... When you get a voltmeter post the readings from each individual battery and the pack total here.....

it came on at first when i plugged it up. I had run them down a little bit more than normal. If they are to low to kick the charger on how do i get them up enough to make the charger work? I do have a greenlee volt meter.

you can charge them 2 at a time on a 12v charger. NO need to disconnect them. What are your battery readings?
