New to electric
Hi I am new to electric carts so be easy on me(I am doing a custom cart)
I need some advice I got a 07 ezgo txt bone stock with rear seat I am going to paint it but need to know how to get the body off(used to club car) Also aside from larger wheels how can I get more top end from it without swapping out the motor?(I have seen the high speed harness on buggies unlimited but it says not to use with stock controller is this true?) How do install the elite dash for it?(I am getting one for this cart) Otherwise it's a solid cart and I am doing it to sell so I want it to be reliable for the owner who buys it Thanks in advance |

Re: New to electric
If it is a PDS drive system you can get those personality chips. If it's a DCS or series cart you can't use those. Which do you have?
You have to drill the riots to get the body and dash off. |

Re: New to electric
I have not personally removed one.
Depending on how the dash is set up on this one ...if it has the 4 center cupholders you can take the cup part out and get access to behind the dash to run wires for switches or whatever you need. |

Re: New to electric
I am going to paint the body though and removing it would make it easier
I will route the wiring before mounting the dash in place(I will have to remove the cup holders anyway as the elite dash has to have them removed to install it |

Re: New to electric
Ok one question
Is there supposed to be a backup buzzer on these carts??? I have moved it around some and driven it some and noticed it doesn't make a BEEP noise when in reverse I wonder how much the top end will be once I add the 12's and the freedom harness and if the cart will handle having four people on it afterwards |
