Default AllTrax DCX400 Controller Question

I have yet to hook my laptop up to my controller to program it. When I installed it I noticed a good increase in the torque and my top speed went from 18 to about 24-25. Am I topped out on torque with the factory settings or can I adjust for less speed and more torque ?

Prior to shipping my controller, the vendor asked the specs on my cart saying they would program it for me.

No but I believe you can request a new feild map hex file from Alltrax and reprogram the feild map.

I'm not very smart and fairly new to carts, can you explain in a little more detail ? Are you saying no I'm not topped out or no I can't adjust for more torque / less speed ?

You can set the top speed and maximum output of the controller with the Alltrax software but you cant do anything about torque without changing the feild map.(reflashing a new code into the controller) Ask Alltrax support about changing your feild map. They may or may not do it for you.
