2005 EZGO electric rear end
I've been told that I need to have the rear end replaced on my 2005 EZGO PDS.
Wondering if a rear end from a 2000 ezgo series cart will work. |

ok, last questions on the matter. Will a 99 also be the same? Anyone know where i could get some direction on how to do it?

How to remove the axle? It's literally just bolted to the leaf springs. Take out the ubolts on the axle and it will drop out ...we'll if it's not a lift it's spring under axle still. You can take the leaf springs loose and lower it down with a jack and then just roll it out and unbolt the springs and then reboot them back to the new axle. Also have to remove your motor.

I guess motor to axle is what I was wondering about. Also will the 1999 rear fit as well as the 2000?

I can't say for sure but I am pretty sure the 99 and 2000 are the same rear end. They will fit the exact same.

Any TXT or Medalist built from 94 to 07 should fit with no problem. Not really sure about the newer ones after 07 as I haven't torn them apart much. You just have to be careful of the 94-96 ones to make sure they are not from a Marathon style cart.
