Default Thoughts on this rear seat?

I took delivery of my RXV this week, ordered and installed this seat tonight. I ordered it because I liked that the seat back and bottom are even with the fronts and do not sit higher.

Sitting on it though it seems like there is not much seat, are all back seats like this?

Get rear seatbelts. I won't let my kids ride back there unless they're buckled up.

+1 on the seatbelts. My child doesn't ride unless her belt is buckled. Also, install a safety grab bar for something else for passengers to hold on to while riding.

I agree on the grab bar. Saved my bacon many times over the years. That and non-slip coating on foot rest. The flip seats with the small seat cushion seem to exacerbate the falling off problem. At least that's been my experience. Also don't ever detail the seat with some of that stuff that makes them shiny but also slippery.

My seat is like the OP's. It's very handy if some guy sits there and puts a gun to your head and says drive.
