48 volt ezgo dcs
after looking at a lot of post on battery diagrams, I'm taking that you hookup the 6 8volt batteries like you would 6 6 volt batteries on a 48 volt ezgo DCS cart. with the front row facing the cart are positive and the back row facing the front are negative. then placing the main positive to the positive post on passenger side positive as well as the main negative on the passenger negative post. thanks in advance for a reply

A DCS is a drive system. You either have a TXT (Plastic) or Medalist (Metal) body style.
Here is the battery layout used for the 48V TXT that is currently being sold. However, you can position them any way you want to as long as all six 8V batteries are in series to give you a 48V battery pack. Of course, some layouts have to have longer cables than others and keeping cable lengths short is a good thing. |
