2008 RXV Electric Cart

When turning on the Key the cart makes buzzing sound and hear a Click, Like solenoid or brake releases,but want move. Have to turn key off and on until You hear Chirping sound,then cart will move. Any Suggestions

I think one post on this is sufficient. Once someone reads it and has any information or suggestions and has time to post they will. Making mutiple posts about the same thing just annoys some people, since they read the same thing twice, plus any responses get confuseing to keep straight as there in several different posts.

That said I am sorry I cannot offer any advice to help you in your situation but I have no doubt someone will and will be around soon.

JD , no forum I'm in likes so many posts on the same subject by the same person on the same day. I understand if someone is new and doest understand forums though but there is no reason to keep posting new threads.

When RXV is powered up "key on" it performs a "power up self test" or POST test.

If cart fails POST it will not operate.

Some common POST failures are.
1) brake "twist test" fail --- parking/emergency brake failure.
2) brake or gas pedal not at home position... brake or throttle sensor/position out of spec.
3) reverse buzzer disconnected.
4) keyswitch failure

Thanks Dude for the help. After reading up on diagnostics on these carts you really need an analyzer. Getting familiar, Maybe my next job. HA HA HA
