Re: howdy
Its a j198 whats dcs ? It has a switch on the contol cover ..inside of cover it has a solied on top of a looks like a power block, the forward and reverse switch is a metal block with two micro switches one on each side. In one position ,one switch makes in the other position both switches make' when first put the batteries in (new batteries) the last connection had a major arc. I took it little switch was in the wrong position. switch in other position no arc. LED on dash shows static of batteries all the time. no matter what position switch Key or the other one . confused. Thanks for your help.

Re: howdy
You have a DCS cart and if you had a big arc then you did have the run tow switch on which could have ruined your controller they the DCS controllers are very sensitive but try this troubleshooting guide http://www.studmonkeyracing.com/forums/dcs.pdf

Re: howdy
checking the wiring diagrams none shows the reverse switch on. I took it for a ride yesterday. Forward works great reverse works great as long as you don't mind going forward all the time. I am a electrican by trade and I don't see how the controller can reverse the polarity to reverse the dc motor. but it must. Thanks again for all yalls help
