What diodes are you talking about? Whats hanging? Sorry, I can't understand what your trying to say. If the cart is running forward and reverse the controller is fine. Something is keeping the solenoid engaged. It will be a stuck or bad micro, stuck solenoid or something is not wired correctly keeping the solenoid engaged. Do you hear the solenoid click when you apply throttle?

Accross the soliniod there is a small board or card. the drawing shows diode parellel a bleed down resistor. In a open circuit the voltage shows up everywhere .under load the largest load drops the majority of the voltage. the solinoid isn't stuck i can hear it click an with a meter there is no voltage there but the print shows you should see 36 volts there thru the resistor an the diode.. my card shows there used to be two diodes one is gone the other is hanging by one lead It undoubtly got hot and melted the solder.both micro switch switch work.later jerry
