Solenoid problems
I have lost power and the solenoid gets hot. Want to upgrade to one that will not over heat and also don't want to get ripped off. I have a 96 ezgo txt dcs with stock 300 amp controller. Anyone have a recommendation?

Re: Solenoid problems
Get a 200 amp SW180 with magnetic blowouts. You will pay a couple of dollars more than you will for a MZJ200 solenoid but you get silver vertical contacts opposed to copper horizontal ones. And you get the magnetic blowouts which prevent material transfer when making and breaking the connection - which the solenoid does each time you press the gas.
I happen to have the best price on the net with free resistor and diode included. Thanks 4 asking |
