Frame Ground?
I was checking out the voltage reducer kit at Scotty's site and he has a note that says "Never run a ground wire to the frame of an electric cart".
The 36v Marathon I just bought has a wire from pack negative to the frame? Should I remove this? |

Re: Frame Ground?
As far as I know, no electric vehicle should have the power system grounded to the frame for safety reasons.

Re: Frame Ground?
OK, will get it fixed. I will have to trace the light wiring this weekend. My guess is someone used the frame instead of running two wires to the lights.
